Hawaiian Momi Shell 4 Strand 32 Inch Niihau Seashell Style Lei

Traditional Hawaiian Niihau style Momi Shell Lei. This is a four strand, 32 total inch Lei necklace. This is the traditional style of special Lei made on the forbidden island of Niihau, Hawaii, and is customarily worn for special events, weddings or other important ceremonies. The Lei can be worn twisted or untwisted for a different effect. The Momi shell colors are natural color. The Lei is finished with a Honey Cowrie Shell. These shell Leis are very precious as these shells are very rare, normally found only on the island of Niihau, selected few beaches of Kauai and rarely the North Shore of Oahu.
