Kauai Sunrise Shells .999 Fine Silver Earrings

Very special... these shells are from the beautiful waters off the island of Kauai. Each earring is a dangling cascade of broken Hawaiian Sunrise Shells - pieces that were found in an area where a large Ray had been spotted. The shells are vividly colored with bold reds, oranges, yellows & pink. They are thick, clean & crisp in detail as they had been freshly cracked, probably by the large Ray, for the tasty scallop meat within. The shells on the bottom are almost full in size & they decrease as they stagger up along the sterling silver wire, between each shell is a sterling silver round bead, like a tiny ball bearing, so that the shells can be spiraled if you wish or they can nest perfectly together as in the top photo. Shells this special deserved .999 Fine Silver long earring wires. Total dangle length is 2 1/2 inches.
