Red Sponge Coral & Hawaiian Sunrise Shell Choker Necklace

Gorgeous Red Sponge Coral spaced with gold beads and with a classic Hawaiian Sunrise Shell pendant. Honestly, I am thrilled with this new piece. I've had these Red Sponge Coral pieces for quite some time, but was waiting for just the perfect Sunrise Shell and the "right" inspiration to create the jewelry. The best way to describe this piece is "understated, but spectacular"... The red color of the sponge coral is subdued, humble and very natural. The Sunrise Shell is extra large at 1 3/8 inches, is perfectly shaped with well defined ridges, a beautiful ruffle at the scallop edges and nicely squared wings. Its coloration is the classic pink and yellow/gold colors that have made the Sunrise Shell such a beloved seashell to so many. This Sunrise Shell compliments the red coral just perfectly.
