Rare Solid Dark Green "Moonrise" Sunrise Shell

The coloration in this shell is deep, dark green with very little hints of pink at the crown and gold on the top of the knuckles. Shells of this nature are referred to by locals as "Moonrise Shells" due to their dark shade of green color. They are also sometimes called "Black Sunrise Shells". The underside of the shell is a solid dark color. This striking shell is in perfect condition with no cracks, holes or chips - it's wings are square and it is a consistently thick shell. Its large size is 1 3/8 inches. This is a very special rare dark green Sunrise Shell from Oahu's North Shore.
